AAAA Records in Shared Hosting
If you want to use a domain address or a subdomain that you have inside a shared hosting account on our end for any third-party service and you have to create an AAAA record for that, it won't take you more than just a few clicks to do this by using our amazing, though easy-to-use Hepsia CP. When you visit the DNS Records section and then click the Create a New Record button, a little pop-up will appear. This is the place where you could create any DNS record, so you only have to choose the needed domain address or subdomain and the type of record through drop-down navigation and input the IPv6 address, which is the actual record. If you happen to have no experience with such matters, you'll not have any troubles as Hepsia is extremely intuitive and the new AAAA record will propagate within the hour, so you can start using your domain/subdomain with the other provider. Provided they demand it, you'll also be able to edit the Time To Live (TTL) value for the record, defining how long it is going to remain active in the global DNS system after you edit it or remove it.
AAAA Records in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you have a semi-dedicated server account from our company and you have to create an AAAA record for a domain you have hosted in it or a subdomain you've created, it will take you only a few clicks in the Hepsia Control Panel to accomplish this. In case you have never had a web hosting account before, you will not experience any issues as you will use a very simple and user-friendly interface. All DNS records for your domain names are going to be listed in a section of the CP with the same name, so as soon as you go there, you'll see all records which have been set up automatically or manually and you'll be able to create a new one by simply clicking the corresponding button. A small pop-up shall appear, so with only a couple of mouse clicks you can pick the type of record that you need and for which domain name or subdomain it's going to be created. Next, just paste the IPv6 address inside a text box, save the modification and one hour later the new AAAA record is going to be fully active. As an optional setting, you can pick the length of time this record will be active after you edit it or delete it in the future. That's the so-called TTL, or Time To Live value of the record, which you can modify from the default 3600 seconds if the other provider needs it.
