DomainKeys Identified Mail in Shared Hosting
If you purchase any of the shared plans that we are offering, the DomainKeys Identified Mail option will be enabled as standard for any domain that you add to your shared web hosting account, so you will not have to set up any records or to do anything manually. When a domain name is added in the Hosted Domains section of our custom Hepsia Control Panel using our MX and NS resource records (so that the email messages related to this domain name will be handled by our cloud web hosting platform), a private key will be created right away on our email servers and a TXT record with a public key will be sent to the DNS database. All addresses set up with this domain name will be protected by DKIM, so if you send out email messages such as regular newsletters, they will reach their target destination and the receivers will know that the messages are genuine, because the DomainKeys Identified Mail functionality makes it impossible for unauthorized parties to forge your email addresses.
DomainKeys Identified Mail in Semi-dedicated Servers
All necessary DomainKeys Identified Mail records will be set up automatically by our cloud hosting platform when you add a domain as hosted in your semi-dedicated server account, so in case you decide to purchase a semi-dedicated package, you won’t need to set up anything to be able to take advantage of the email authentication system. The domain must use our name servers in order for its DNS resource records to be managed by us and if this condition is met, a private cryptographic key will be created on our email servers and a public key will be added to the DNS database by a special TXT record. All email addresses that you create using the domain will be protected by DKIM, which will make it impossible for third parties to forge any address. Both you and your partners or customers can benefit from this option, as it will guarantee a higher safety level for your online correspondence.
